State of the Environment (SOE) monitoring is a legal requirement of regional councils and monitoring the ongoing health of freshwater and estuary environments are two such responsibilities.
Within our team of aquatic specialists, not only do we have the ability to design and implement field programmes and process samples, we have the expertise to write reports and perform quality control for those that undertake their own sample processing. Over the years, we’ve become very familiar with the various protocols for sampling and processing invertebrates in estuary and freshwater systems. We’ve also invested in the laboratory equipment required to not only cover the full range of techniques typically used in SOE programmes, but also to give us the most accurate results possible.
So when it comes to SOE monitoring, EOS can do as little or as much of the work as you require.
